Daniel Hirsig

Daniel Hirsig started his career in finance from scratch with a professional apprenticeship with Schweizerische Bankgesellschaft (SBG) (today UBS AG) and subsequent professional training in various bank departments. As early as in 1983 he started his success story with Baltrag AG in the role of an assistant portfolio manager / client relationship manager. Within a few years, he acquired the professional experience and the international clients’ trust to become the head of trading/commercial transactions.

Now being the most senior member of the Trumag team, he has played a key role in building up the clientele with the founder Peter Bear. He has 40+ years of experience in the trust and fiduciary business. He lives up to the principles of integrity, trust and reliability, valuing the long-standing, personal relationships with the clients. Always putting the client interest first, he is often even able to anticipate the clients’ needs and wishes.

In addition to his mother tongue German, he is fluent in English as well as in French.

For a good work-life balance, he loves to ride his motorbike and discover countries near and far. After many active years in a basketball team, he continues passively on the board of his local club and as delegate of Swiss basketball.
