Claude Crelier

After completing his federal commercial diploma, Claude gained his first experience in the banking world with an internship at Swiss Bank Corporation (today UBS AG) followed by a position as an assistant investment advisor in private banking. Further training at the University of Applied Sciences and Arts Northwestern Switzerland (FHNW), including an intermediate diploma in business economics, lured Claude back to the classroom. Towards the end of the nineties, Claude began his career as an investment advisor at UBS AG, initially in Basel for European clients and later in Zurich for the Middle East. Through numerous business trips, the Middle East became like a second home for him.

Claude has been a certified investment advisor since 2007. In 2014, he expanded his qualification to a Certified Wealth Management Advisor (CWMA) recognized by the Swiss Association for Quality (SAQ). He has been working as an examiner/expert at UBS Business University for several years.

Claude decided to switch to an external asset manager in 2016. His expertise in private banking as well as his excellent networking and communication skills are a strong asset for Trumag. He supports Trumag with his knowhow in the field of finance. Over the years he has gained a thorough understanding for the trust and fiduciary business.

His mother tongue is German, but he is also fluent in English as well as French. Furthermore, he can communicate in Spanish as well.

Claude is married and lives in Liestal. His leisure interests include fitness, hiking, motorcycling and traveling to countries near and far.
